A second suspect was charged with distributing “explicit images and facilitating contact between victims and others.”
Andres Velazques-Trejo, 29, William Chase McElroy, 21, Dalton Terrell, 21, and Timothy St. John, 23, are the people who have been arrested in connection with the nightmare child sex trafficking operation.
More victims and additional perpetrators could be revealed in the future, according to Assistant District Attorney Brian Jones.
Jones said, “There were chairs and beds and things of that nature and the children were drugged by Mr. Trejo and tied to the bed, into the chair, into a pole. And then people would come and pay money to have sex with these children.”
He also mentioned an estimated 12 individuals who participated in the horrifying network may never be brought to justice as law enforcement is having a difficult time identifying them, explaining, “There are some allegations with individuals that we will have a hard time identifying, just because we don’t know their names. And the children were drugged, according to one of the codefendants. And so they may not be able to recognize or be able to identify anyone.”
“As bad as it sounds with (Velazques-Trejo) drugging them, it may be a blessing in disguise because they don’t remember a lot of things,” Jones told the press, adding, “I’m hopeful through that they won’t have near the trauma they would have had if they had not been drugged. I have a feeling as this story gets out, I feel like there are going to be more victims.”
