On Thursday, journalist Tucker Carlson shared his thoughts on President Donald Trump’s Wednesday evening speech about the ongoing war with Iran, praising the address as a “huge win for the United States.”
“Trump’s speech last night announced the end of global American empire. There’s turbulence ahead, but long term it’s a huge win for the United States,” Carlson wrote.
While he has recently been critical of the war itself and other recent actions by the Trump administration, Carlson said Trump’s speech revealed there will allegedly be no ground invasion in Iran, suggested the war will soon be coming to an end and that there will not be “regime change.”
Just hours before Carlson released the video, POTUS shared a New York Post article titled, “Deranged Tucker Carlson backstabs Trump.”
The article, which was published on March 19, claimed Tucker “has tried to lead the MAGA base away from Trump and down a very dark path” and “has spent 100% of his time trying to turn the MAGA base against Israel and in favor of Islamist regimes.”
“His [Carlson] podcast has become a remorseless roll call of Holocaust deniers, antisemites, Islamic extremists and World War II revisionists,” the New York Post columnist Douglas Murray stated.
Even when he’s attacked by the president, Carlson will still support Trump when he sees fit, also saying last month that he’ll “always love” POTUS “no matter what” he says about him.
