On Thursday evening the Democrat’s official X (formerly Twitter) account posted a chart of U.S. grocery prices from late 2019 to the end of 2024. The graph showed a massive surge in prices in the second half of 2021 and into 2022. Their caption read “Trump’s America”.
Unfortunately for the Democrats, the massive surge in prices that their graph showed was under the Joe Biden administration.
Notably, the Democrat’s chart showed grocery prices remain relatively low and constant under the first Trump presidency, only to dramatically spike soon after Biden assumed office.
The chart also shows Biden was unable to lower the prices after they spiked, as they never went back down throughout his four-year term.
The Democrats got absolutely roasted in the comments.
