Following his White House visit on Friday that failed to secure long-range missiles to escalate the war, Ukraine’s Dictator Vladimir Zelensky decided to remain defiant of peace, refuse to give up any territory to end the war, call for increased pressure on Russia instead of a truce, then proceed to lie that Kiev wants peace while Moscow doesn’t. This is not a new behavior however, Zelensky has a history of defiance.
Ukraine has never sought war. We agreed to an unconditional ceasefire, looked for opportunities for peace, and repeatedly offered the world ways to stop the strikes in the sky, on land, and at sea. But it is Russia that continually obstructs this process – manipulating, dragging out negotiations, terrorizing our people with airstrikes, and intensifying assaults along the front line. The war continues only because Moscow does not want it to end.
Almost every day, Russian terrorists carry out hundreds of attacks on our critical and civilian infrastructure. This week alone, Russia has used more than 3,270 attack drones, 1,370 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 50 missiles of various types against Ukraine. We are constantly strengthening our defense and working with partners to enhance air defense: the PURL initiative, investments in Ukraine’s defense industry, bilateral and multilateral formats. Putin cannot be stopped with words – pressure is needed. The world sees that Russia responds to strength, which means that peace through strength can work. Ukraine will never grant terrorists any bounty for their crimes, and we count on our partners to uphold this very position. Decisive steps are needed from the United States, Europe, the G20 and G7 countries. Lives must be protected. I thank everyone who is helping in this effort.

While the Dictator was falsely claiming Russia refuses to negotiate peace, he also refused to entertain the idea of negotiating peace. On Sunday Zelensky ruled out any future economic deals with Moscow which may bring about peacetime relationships.
There should be zero Russian energy in Europe. The signals from America are clear—they are ready to supply as much gas and oil as needed to replace Russian supplies. Our region has the necessary infrastructure and potential to contribute to Europe’s energy independence way more.
Almost every day now, we are communicating with leaders to ensure that we have a common position, all of us in Europe, on putting pressure on Russia—the right kind of pressure. We will grant the aggressor no gifts and forget nothing.

On Monday Zelensky discussed his conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron in which the two agreed that pressure, not peace, be put upon Moscow.
I spoke with President of France
@EmmanuelMacron. Now is the right moment to push the situation toward ending the war, and the most important thing is to fully seize every opportunity and apply the right kind of pressure on Russia. Pressuring the one who started the war is the key to a denouement. Emmanuel and I discussed all the current diplomatic aspects and our recent contacts with partners. I am grateful for the support. We agreed to meet in the near future.

On Sunday President Donald Trump said that Kiev will have to cede some territory to Moscow to end the Ukraine war.
“Well, he’s going to take something,” Trump said. “I mean, they fought and uh, he has a lot of property. I mean, you know, he’s won certain property, if you say that, he’s won certain property.”
On Monday Zelensky rebuked such a move, opting for more war instead of less territory.
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has ruled out any territorial concessions to Russia, rejecting what the media has described as a compromise proposal backed by US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to journalists on Monday, Zelensky reiterated his position, saying Ukrainian troops “will not withdraw from Donbass – period.” He repeated his claim on the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, former Ukrainian territories that voted to join Russia in 2022.
On Friday the Dictator did say he is ready to travel to the upcoming Trump / Putin summit in Hungary, although he remained defiant on any concessions while holding his line with the tactic of maximum pressure.
The Ukrainian president called Putin a “terrorist,” and opined that Ukraine “will not lose this war, and Putin will not win.” He stated that escalating the airstrikes,” Zelensky added, stating that Putin wants “an energy catastrophe this winter by attacking us.” He also insisted Ukraine should not “give anything additional to Putin,” and needs “to stay where we are.”
In a twisted move of hypocrisy, the Dictator also says he wants peaceful negotiations while not negotiating.
“If we want to stop this war and to go to peace negotiations, urgently and in a diplomatic way, we need to stay where we stay,” Zelensky told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday.
While Zelensky was still in Washington on Friday Alex Jones broke down the defiant behavior of Ukraine’s Dictator.
