Following a protracted trade war with the United States under the leadership of President Donald Trump, China has begun to experience a reduction in economic growth, even in their cooked numbers.
“China’s economic growth slowed to the weakest pace in a year in the third quarter as fragile domestic demand left it heavily reliant on the humming of its exporting factories, stoking concerns about deepening structural imbalances,” Reuters said Monday. “While the 4.8% growth rate met expectations and kept China on track to reach its target of roughly 5% this year, the economy’s dependence on external demand at a time of mounting trade tensions with Washington raises questions over whether that pace can be sustained.”
Despite being on track to meet their so-called 5% growth rate this year, that 5% is likely fake to begin with, not dissimilar to China’s alleged “domination” in the fields of technology and science.
Currently China is experiencing a real estate bubble and is home to ghost cities which were built as part of grand financial scams. The parts of China which are inhabited are built poorly and are in a perpetual state of falling apart. Streets run rampant with petty property crime and mass homelessness. China is also seeing stagnation of growth in its second-largest export market, Europe. There is negative growth in China’s top export market, the U.S.
There is also a falling and aging domestic population in China, similar to the West. Chinese workers are beginning to attack their own worksites and factories because they have not been paid due to the poor state of the economy.
“For at least a decade, China’s growth story has been a triumph of propaganda and a testament to the willingness of lazy, gullible western journalists and institutions to accept it. In truth, whether we’re talking GDP, economic growth, deflation or demographics, the official Chinese data is a tofu-dreg edifice that cannot mask China’s severe underlying societal problems,” The Hill reported in May.
Newsweek reported on China’s true economy in 2024 and found similar results – cooked numbers.
While cooking the books may not be new for Beijing, the current crop of Chinese lies may revolve around upcoming diplomatic negotiations with Washington.
“Beijing may be using the headline resilience in growth as a show of strength in talks between its vice premier He Lifeng and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in Malaysia in coming days and a potential meeting between presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping in South Korea later,” Reuters said.
On Monday President Trump met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. During the meeting Trump said a higher tariff rate against China would go into effect November 1 if Beijing can’t reach a deal with Washington. Trump said China is currently paying the U.S. “tremendous amounts of money” in tariffs, which currently stand at 30%.
While China flounders at home, a CCP-shill-bot army wages propaganda war abroad. Recently footage of a bridge and train station made their way around Western social media (websites blocked via Chinese-style net censorship).
Because China has a bridge and train station, some in the West seemingly turned a blind eye to China dragging anti-vaxxers out of their homes, holding them down as they force-vaccinated them kicking and screaming. The bridge and train station also diverted talk on China away from Beijing’s genocide of the Uyghurs.
Unfortunately for the Chinese, while these shoddily-constructed projects were built to look good on opening day for an international propaganda victory over the gullible, Chinese infrastructure crumbles after mere decades due to poor material quality and lack of maintenance.
