Aaron Spencer, an Arkansas father who is being charged with killing a serial pedophile who was allegedly raping Spencer’s daughter, won the Republican primary in the Lonoke County sheriff’s race this week.
In October of 2025, Infowars reported on Spencer’s run for office, detailing how he allegedly gunned down 67-year-old Michael Fosler when Spencer’s 14-year-old daughter went missing from their home and was tracked down only to be found in Fosler’s vehicle.
Fosler had already been charged with multiple sexual offenses against Spencer’s daughter, so when the father found the pair together he allegedly ran the car off the road and shot Fosler dead.
The girl’s mother, Heather, wrote in an online fundraiser that her daughter was “targeted, groomed and ultimately raped by the boyfriend of a family friend,” adding, “We let the justice system do its job. The monster who hurt our child was charged quickly, but released even faster on a $50k bond. He was awaiting court in December for several felonies in relation to what he did to our child.”
Spencer, who is a U.S. military combat veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne Division, explained, “This campaign isn’t about me; it’s about every parent, every neighbor, every family who deserves to feel safe in their homes and in their community. It’s about restoring trust, where neighbors know law enforcement is on their side and families know they will not be left alone in a moment of need.”
Now, after his primary victory, Spencer will face off against Democrat Brian Mitchell Sr. in the November general election.
Spencer is currently awaiting trial on a second-degree murder charge with pretrial hearings scheduled for March 18, meaning that if he’s elected sheriff and later found guilty he’ll be no longer able to serve as sheriff.
Media outlets such as CNN and others ran headlines like, “Aaron Spencer wins primary race for sheriff as he awaits his murder trial in Arkansas,” and “Murder suspect Aaron Spencer wins Republican primary for Lonoke County sheriff race.”
The establishment press intentionally omitted the fact that the man he is suspected of murdering was charged with molesting his daughter.
