Crockett, who lost to Texas House Rep. James Talarico, told her election party crowd, “So long as they know they can win, even if it means cheating, then they will continue to do it,” apparently referring to Republicans despite the fact that she lost the DEMOCRAT primary.
The failed senate candidate is reportedly going to file a lawsuit challenging the election results, claiming some voters in Dallas County were confused about voting locations.
“People have been disenfranchised,” she told her audience, adding, “This is what Republicans like to do.”
“They specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why,” Crockett stated, insinuating the GOP is racist and somehow meddled in the Democrat primary.
On Wednesday morning, Crockett issued a message on social media saying she’d called Talarico “and congratulated him on becoming the Senate nominee.”
“Texas is primed to turn blue and we must remain united because this is bigger than any one person,” she continued. “This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.”
