Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was raked over the coals Wednesday, as the Republican-led House Oversight Committee grilled him on the skyrocketing costs of his state’s federally-funded welfare programs and illegal alien population.
Members of the GOP took turns picking apart Walz, who ran as Kamala Harris’ vice presidential nominee, questioning him on why his administration bent over backwards to funnel federal money into social services, and provided driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) cornered Walz in a back-and-forth asking why he restarted payments to the “Feeding Our Future” Somali fraudsters, even after they were under investigation for international money laundering.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) questioned why whistleblowers claimed Walz’s staff had insinuated that officials “identifying fraud” could be perceived as racist or Islamophobic.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) brought out a chart illustrating the skyrocketing federal costs to the state’s autism programs, frustrating Walz to no end.
In 2017, $1 Million was spent on autism in Minnesota.

Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) slammed Walz for claiming Minnesota’s Somali community “has successfully assimilated,” arguing the group’s strain on social programs far outweighs that of native Minnesotans.

Walz was also grilled on his state’s issuance of driver’s licenses to illegal aliens who can barely speak a lick of English, let alone read and properly interpret road signs.

Walz’s “driver’s licenses for all” policy came under scrutiny last month after an illegal alien truck driver who had obtained a CDL from Minnesota was seen driving an 18-wheeler the wrong way on a highway in Missouri.
