“Young Turks” host Ana Kasparian joined comedian Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast this week for a wide-ranging discussion on the transgender bathroom debate, Israel’s bombing of Palestine, U.S. immigration and a slew of other topics.

Regarding biological males using female restrooms, Kasparian surprised Maher by opposing the notion of men entering women’s private spaces.

Laughing and saying Maher was going to get her “in trouble” with the leftist cult, Kasparian asked, “Is it bad that I don’t want to see a dick in the women’s locker room? I just don’t! I don’t want to see a cock in the women’s locker room!”

“And you shouldn’t,” he responded. “And no woman should. This is basic 101… It’s not what people want and it goes against human nature… So good to hear you say that. Really good. I did not expect that.”

The “Young Turks” liberal commentator noted that she “respects” trans people and wants them to be treated with dignity and respect, but pushed back against “trans” men invading female spaces.

On the topic of President Trump remodeling the White House ballroom with private funds, both leftists agreed they don’t care about the issue as much as the establishment media.

“First of all, it doesn’t cost you anything,” Maher said, with Kasparian adding, “That’s the number one thing. That’s the most important thing, yeah.”

Touching on immigration, Kasparian said, “Look, I think Biden really did mess up when it comes to immigration, 100%. I actually really sympathize with people who were really furious over what happened over immigration under the Biden administration.”

However, she went on to defend illegals “who have been here for literally decades who do pay taxes but don’t get the benefits that come along with the various public programs that they’re funding through their taxes.”

Maher’s guest later called out Democrats, specifically in California, for failing to see where they went wrong, such as “disastrous” criminal justice reforms, saying, “They’re literally getting people killed!”

“I mean…I could list just the things that the left has done, that they think are helping, that are counter to their own goals,” the podcast host said.

He continued to slam the left’s defund the police movement, pointing out it “didn’t help African-Americans who usually want more police, not corrupt police.”

“They want more police. It’s so racist that they think they’re being anti-racist. And actually it’s being very racist to assume that black people and saying, well, aren’t they the criminals? We can’t have a lot of cops around them. No, they’re not,” he added.

After mostly agreeing on several topics, fireworks erupted over the Israel-Gaza situation when the term “genocide” was mentioned.

“You don’t know what the word means,” Maher said, with Kasparian retorting, “I’m Armenian, I know what the word means.”

He continued to argue Israel “didn’t even come close” to wiping out the entire Palestinian population, and called out Hamas for hiding in tunnels underneath hospitals, saying, “Hamas is the bad guy. If you don’t get that, you don’t get much.”

After acknowledging the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel was “disgusting,” Kasparian argued slaughtering women and children in Palestine was not the right response.

She also asked Maher if he understands that “killing so many civilians, they are essentially multiplying extremism,” and he answered, “There’s very often in the world two very bad choices… You don’t have a good choice. You have the bad choice and the even worse choice.”

Pressed about his refusal to acknowledge the “atrocities” that have taken place in Gaza, Maher said, “Well, it depends on what you call an atrocity. All wars are going to have atrocities… During the Civil War, a lot of people would say, especially in the South, that Sherman did not have to burn Atlanta quite as badly as he did. I mean, we were pretty brutal. But would you also then just say, well, we don’t know who the good guys were in that war? No, I think it was the North.”

The pair went on to argue over whether or not Israel is trying to expand its territory, which ended with them shouting over each other.

At one point, Maher asked Kasparian which Muslim nation would allow her to wear Western clothes such as the dress she wore during the interview, and she blamed destabilization by the U.S. and European nations for Islam’s draconian anti-woman rules.

He blurted, “You’re not really blaming it on whitey are you? You’re blaming Islam on whitey? We destabilized, so that’s why you can’t wear that dress?”

The “Young Turks” host refused to answer the question.

Maher’s podcast has become very popular because he brings on both conservatives and leftists while covering topics mainstream media shies away from.
