Trump Is Disappointed In Zelensky For Refusing Peace Plan

On Monday Zelensky traveled to London to meet with his enablers from the Western part of the continent. The Dictator appears to be subservient to their orders and agendas over that of Washington's.

Zelensky is calling adding pressure to Russia to attain a "dignified peace" - likely a term synonymous with the term "his way or the highway" due to the reluctance to cede any territory to Russia.

On Sunday President Donald Trump told reporters that he is disappointed in Ukraine’s Dictator Vladimir Zelensky for not even reviewing the White House-backed peace plan Trump had hoped would bring an end to the Ukraine war.

“I have to say that I’m a little bit disappointed that President Zelensky hasn’t yet read the proposal, that was as of a few hours ago,” Trump said Sunday.

The President mentioned that Russia was fine with the most recent proposal. Note that officials from Washington met with officials from Kiev on November 30 to discuss any issues they had with the plan, then White House officials traveled to Moscow and held a meeting at the Kremlin to discuss the developments with the peace plan.

While reportedly no progress was made with these two meetings, it appears that the ongoing issue has been Zelensky’s reluctance to cede any territory to Russia as part of a settlement to end his war. The Kremlin has since invited European leaders to Moscow, as Zelensky’s EU enablers are likely the reason for this defiance toward peace.

“I’m not sure that Zelensky is fine with it [the peace plan]. His people love it, but he isn’t ready,” Trump said Sunday.

On Monday Zelensky traveled to London to meet with his enablers from the Western part of the continent. The Dictator appears to be subservient to their orders and agendas over that of Washington’s.

“Today, we held a detailed discussion on our joint diplomatic work with the American side, aligned a shared position on the importance of security guarantees and reconstruction, and agreed on the next steps. We also held a separate discussion on further defense support for Ukraine. I am grateful to the leaders for their willingness to stand with our people and help us on the path toward bringing peace closer,” the Dictator said.

Zelensky is calling adding pressure to Russia to attain a “dignified peace” – likely a term synonymous with the term “his way or the highway” due to the reluctance to cede any territory to Russia.

RT detailed the events over the weekend, which still revolve around Zelensky’s grasp of land:

Zelensky spoke over the phone with US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on Saturday, with the sides reportedly disagreeing over whether Ukraine should relinquish control of some territory in favor of Russia. In a video address late on Sunday, Zelensky said Ukraine “deserves a dignified peace,” and that he would hold consultations with Kiev’s European backers in the coming days.

Trump has argued in the past that Ukraine may have to withdraw troops from Donbass in accordance with Russia’s ceasefire terms. Zelensky, however, has ruled out abandoning any territory.
