“No Kings” protests in Portland, Los Angeles and Dallas took a violent turn yesterday as angry leftists filled the streets to demonstrate against President Trump.
Footage posted to social media showed protesters in Portland attacking police officers who were attempting to keep the crowd under control.
In Los Angeles, protesters waving Palestinian flags attacked Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents with cement blocks.
A large crowd gathered outside the Metropolitan Detention Center, where riots took place last summer over immigration raids.
DHS agents used tear gas on the crowd, and LAPD officers in riot gear were deployed.
In Dallas, Texas, where the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was also taking place, police had to separate No Kings protesters from pro-America counter-protesters.
Video showed leftists screaming obscenities at pro-Trump demonstrators and being arrested by police.
In New York, demonstrations were led by Hollywood actor Robert De Niro and state attorney Letitia James. There were no arrests.
