Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.) proved in front of the whole nation that he is unfit for office and fails to comprehend the most basic concept written by America’s Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence when he denied the idea of humans being endowed with natural rights.

“The notion that rights don’t come from laws and don’t come from the government, but come from the creator, that’s what the Iranian government believes,” Kaine ignorantly stated. “It’s a theocratic regime that bases its rule on Shia Law and targets Sunnis, Baháʼís, Jews, Christians and other religious minorities.”
“And they do it because they believe that they understand what natural rights are from their creator. So, the statement that our rights do not come form our laws or our government is extremely troubling,” he added.
What’s actually troubling is the fact that a sitting senator and former vice presidential candidate is unaware that America was founded on the notion of unalienable rights belonging to all individuals that cannot be taken away by any government or other authority as they are inherently endowed by God.
The U.S. Constitution established the American government in order to protect those inherent, fundamental rights the Founders believed were natural and came from God.
This is basic knowledge every middle school-aged kid learns in social studies, yet the Democrat politician fails to grasp or denies the concept.
The Declaration of Independence states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
