Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard spoke with conservative podcast host Benny Johnson on Thursday, admitting the CIA’s “Operation Mockingbird” infiltration of American media is ongoing and that she’s working to stop the illegal propaganda machine.

Johnson asked Gabbard if she’s aware of intelligence agencies embedding operatives in media organizations to parrot establishment narratives and push false information.
She revealed the Trump administration has “already” had to deal with “people within the intelligence community who believe that their will is more important than the will of the American people,” saying those individuals “will weaponize intelligence by leaking it to their friends within the mainstream media” to undermine the MAGA agenda.
The DNI continued to accuse Deep State intel agents who leak information to the press of “undermining the Constitution” and “subverting the will of the people.”
Gabbard also said President Trump and administration officials are working to expose “bad actors within the intelligence community and in the political space who are weaponizing intelligence to advance their own political interests.”
“To be able to turn the light on in places that have been dark for too long, expose the truth and drive accountability, that’s the only way that we can actually shift this and begin to work to try to restore trust in the intelligence community,” she added.
The political establishment’s control of almost every mainstream media outlet has resulted in the American people distrusting the press at record levels and alternative news sources skyrocketing in popularity.
Perhaps the Trump White House could bring true balance to the U.S. media landscape by stopping the government influence over major media programs and pundits.
