Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers, working alongside U.S. Border Patrol, apprehended the Special Interest Alien in Starr County on Thursday.
A TxDPS Brush Team and K-9 tracked the man down Roma.
Oddly, the man was reportedly found to be in possession of a permanent residency card issued by the Mexican government.
“This is a major national security issue,” stated independent reporter Jorge Ventura.
“[It] begs the question, why are Mexican officials issuing these ID’s to Middle Eastern men with the intentions of crossing illegally into the U.S.?”
Observers have pointed out that the man did not appear to be a typical Pakistani “migrant” and may have military training or hail from another country altogether.

He is trained and I will tell you why based on this picture alone…
-Manner of dress
-Columbia jacket
-Cargo pants
-Haircut
-Physically in what appears to be decent shape
He didn’t just make a 30 plus day journey up through…
I ain’t no expert, but that guy doesn’t look Pakistani.

He’s something else, and “permanent residency cards for Mexico aren’t just handed out to anybody either.
This story goes deeper.
In recent weeks, the U.S. has been rocked by a series off attacks and deadly shootings carried out by suspects with Islamic backgrounds or ties to foreign terrorist groups.
Additionally, federal authorities apprehended at least three dangerous citizens of a predominantly-Islamic West African nation in the weeks leading up to a mass shooting carried out by an alleged African jihadist last month in Austin, Texas.
