Muddying the Waters: Don’t Let the Left Distract Us from What Needs To Be Done

The left is muddying the waters about Charlie Kirk's killer, with good reason

After 48 hours of sick celebrations following the murder of Charlie Kirk, the left was suddenly in a hurry to disavow the shooter and claim he isn’t one of their own.

Of course, everything the killer did suggested from the get-go he was a leftist. He even shot Charlie Kirk as he broached the issue of transgender mass shooters. This is one of many subjects leftists believe warrant a fists-and-bullets response, since they think hurtful words and topics they don’t like are a special form of violence and anybody who talks about them deserves everything they get, up to and including death.

You’re making me feel uncomfortable about the festering axe wound between my legs. Die, bigot!

But no, despite all the evidence of our senses and experience, we’re supposed to believe Charlie Kirk’s killer is a Trump supporter and Trump supporters are the ones responsible for all political violence in America.

The left was muddying the waters from the start, while it still wasn’t clear whether Charlie Kirk was alive or dead. I believe it was an MSNBC commentator who suggested, with barely concealed laughter, that maybe Kirk had been killed by one of his own supporters firing off a gun by mistake. You don’t hate these people enough. You think you do, but you don’t.

We’ve seen this before. It happened with Thomas Matthew Crooks, the greasy little turd who tried and failed to kill Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania last year. Leftists whooped and hollered but were also disappointed because the luckiest man alive turned his head at the exact moment a high-caliber round should have entered his skull—and then they went to work seizing on tiny bits of information about the shooter and trying to twist them to fit their sick narrative.

It looked like Crooks or somebody in his family had once made a donation to the Republican Party, so of course he was actually a Hitlerian accelerationist trying to usher in Helter Skelter and right-wing death squads by taking out Donald Trump. The fact that we still don’t know anything about Crooks, over a year later—and if the authorities do, they’re not saying anything—means that this absurd fantasy still lives on, zombie-like, even now, when it should have been put down for good a long time ago.

Leftists want to have their cake and eat it. We know that already. They want violence, but they also want to be the people of peace. The good guys. They want to shovel you and your family into a mass grave and also talk about Progress and heaven on earth and the perfect society, cleansed of all inequality.

Everything leftists do and believe is an incoherent mess: the massive tangle of ideas and concepts and “praxis” they’ve built simply to hide their naked resentment and the biological grounds of their revolt.

But then, if History moves by a series of contradictions—thesis, antithesis, synthesis—perhaps one day, when we reach the final synthesis, it will all make sense. Until that day comes, though, it’s all just retarded and you’re a fucking retard if you believe it.

So when the first solid evidence about Charlie Kirk’s killer was revealed on Friday morning, and then a suspect was turned in to the authorities, leftists saw their chance. A key piece of evidence was a series of inscriptions found on bullet casings left at the scene. These included obvious leftists slogans like “notices bulge”—a reference to a vile “furry” meme—and the Italian phrase “bella ciao,” ripped straight from an anti-fascist song of great vintage.

Well, guess what? These were actually right-wing memes, because the “bella ciao” song features in an obscure groyper playlist someone dug up on Spotify. The disingenuous gimps also found a picture of the suspect, Tyler Robinson, dressed as a gopnik—a Slavic subculture where men wear Western sports gear and flat caps and squat while drinking vodka from the bottle—and reminded us that there’s a Pepe meme where the little frogman is a gopnik too. Further details about Robinson filtered out, like the fact he’s from a Mormon background and his father is a sheriff, and the switcheroo was complete.

Robinson was not a gay race communist. He was a groyper. Never mind that Pepe is not the Groyper, as anybody with even a cursory understanding of right-wing online culture would know.

We’ve now had a full 24 hours of leftists crowing with delight about their “discovery” of Tyler Robinson’s far-right sympathies. Here’s voice of reason Keith Olbermann, for example.

“Turns out the suspect the FBI just arrested in the murder of Charlie Kirk is an ultra-right gun nut registered Republican Groyper. Gonna need your apology real fucking fast @elonmusk.”

More details are now being revealed about Robinson that should put an end to this farce, or at least silence some of these unbearable pricks, though maybe not Keith Olbermann.

A family friend has spoken to The Guardian and told them that, while the Robinson family were conservative and patriotic, young Tyler was a black sheep who was “pretty left about everything.” The friend said Tyler had drifted to the left in his sophomore year at high school and became a common-garden bore who “ranted” about leftist talking points whenever he got the chance.

We’re now getting confirmation that he had a tranny boyfriend too, after rumors started circulating yesterday. Very based.

Anybody who knows anything about life in a deeply conservative Christian family will know it’s far from uncommon for the pendulum to swing hard the other way with the younger generation. In fact, it’s very common. Going far left is maybe the most powerful form of rebellion possible when your parents believe in God and things like morality and human nature.

Leftist radicalization can happen very fast indeed. There’s a parallel to be drawn, maybe, with the case of Aaron Bushnell, that poor pathetic fool who set himself on fire to protest Israel’s invasion of Gaza. When Bushnell joined the military at the beginning of the pandemic, he was an earnest, patriotic Christian who mocked libtarded Third Worldist Christians—the kind of people who say “Jesus was a brown undocumented migrant”—by calling them “Pharisees” on Reddit. Fast forward three years and he was a self-hating tranny who believed the only way he could expunge his “white guilt” was to douse himself with petrol and light a match for Palestine and “people of color.” I’ve written about Bushnell’s bad conscience at length. He appears to have been radicalized on Discord and Reddit, but also through real-world contact with Trantifa leftist groups. I won’t be surprised if Robinson was too.

It would be generous to call all of this a distraction, but that’s what it is. We need to be careful about distractions. Another distraction we’re going to see, mark my words, is an attempt to focus the issue on the internet and education as the sole cause of radicalization. I don’t doubt the internet and education are to blame to some extent—I’ve already talked about how Aaron Bushnell was radicalized on Discord and Reddit—but I think we risk being distracted from the real issue, which transcends any individual killer or criminal.

Leftist violence in America, as the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s murder makes clear, is not in any sense “isolated.” First of all, there’s the general culture, which praises and encourages violence—see Luigi Mangione—but there’s also a well-funded, well-organized apparatus of radicalism and terror that touches every area of public life. It must be the focus of the Trump administration’s response to Charlie Kirk’s murder.

We saw this apparatus at work most effectively and extensively during the 2020 Summer of Floyd, when it was part of a domestic color revolution that succeeded in preventing the re-election of Donald Trump.

The leftist mass movement and the Democrat Party may be caught in a cycle of recrimination after its epic failure in last year’s election, but that hasn’t degraded the left’s ability, as a whole, to organize to harass, doxx, attack and even murder people it doesn’t like. It hasn’t stopped leftists from organizing nationwide protests and local action to frustrate the Trump administration’s attempts to deport illegals, especially in strongholds like Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon.

This is why President’s Trump’s refusal to call for “unity,” as demonstrated in his interview on Fox and Friends yesterday morning, is so important. No, this is not a problem of left and right. The two sides are not equal. However true it may be that right-wingers “demonize” their opponents and some right-wingers do end up committing violence against them, the right is not in possession of a domestic terror network, despite ostensibly being in control of the American government and all its institutions. The heinous reactions to Charlie Kirk’s murder from government employees—including officers in the armed forces, Secret Service agents and FEMA workers—show just how tenuous that control is, and how much more reform of government still remains to be done.

Thankfully, it looks like something really might now be done to start tearing down the whole rotten structure.

Stephen Miller gave a tremendous performance—spirited even by his own impressive standards—speaking to Sean Hannity on Friday night.

“There is a domestic terrorism movement in this country,” Miller said.

“The last message Charlie Kirk gave to me, before he joined his creator in heaven, was he said, ‘We have to dismantle and take on the radical left organizations in this country that are fomenting violence.’ That was the last message he sent me, before that assassin stole him from all of us. And we are going to do that. Under President Trump’s leadership, I don’t care how—it could be a RICO charge, it could be a conspiracy charge, conspiracy against the United States, insurrection—but we are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and the entities that are fomenting riots, that are doxxing, that are trying to inspire terrorism and that are committing acts of wanton violence. It has to stop. And my message to all of the domestic terrorists in this country spreading this evil hate: You want us to live in fear? We will not live in fear. But you will live in exile. Because the power of law enforcement under President Trump will be used to find you, take away your money, take away your power, and if you’ve broken the law, take away your freedom.”

Yes, I see it. As clear as a crystal pond.

Now do it.
