Leftists went ape this week after ABC took “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off the air following misleading remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, with many calling to boycott the network’s left-leaning parent company Disney.

ABC on Wednesday evening announced Kimmel’s show would be cancelled indefinitely following pressure by the FCC to take action on the show host’s false remarks claiming Kirk’s alleged assassin was a MAGA supporter.
“BOYCOTT ALERT! Disney/ABC just caved & pulled Jimmy Kimmel for political reasons,” liberal anti-Trumper Brian Krassenstein wrote on X, advising his followers to “Boycott Disney. Boycott Nexstar. Boycott their advertisers.”
Leftist YouTuber Keith Edwards also called on his supporters to cancel their Hulu and Disney subscriptions in protest.
“Boycott everything affiliated with ABC and Disney,” remarked liberal activist @JoJoJerz.
Progressive YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen posted a screenshot of his cancelled subscription to the streaming platform Hulu, which is owned by Disney.
Commenting on TikTok, leftist @TheGrayCanary seethed, “If we all were to cancel our Disney memberships, if we were all to cancel our cable and ABC, if were all to actually put actions behind our words and say no to the corporate media structures that are complicit in Trump authoritarian takeover then we might make a difference, but until we are willing to put our action where our mouths are the snowball of momentum will continue to roll right over us.”
Liberal pundit Wajahat Ali went further, recommending that “Every major talent that works for ABC and Disney should refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is reinstated. Marvel movies need to shutdown. Ditto the sitcoms. Collective boycott. Corporations love money more than anything, & this will really harm them and force them to do the right thing.”
Prominent Trump Derangement Syndrome-afflicted leftist @BrooklynDad_defiant! fumed, “Disney is pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s show ‘indefinitely’ because he made some comments about Charlie Kirk. Bending the knee to fascism again?” adding, “Fuck you, @Disney cowards.”
Leftists also held cry-in protests on the BlueSky social media app:

Meanwhile, people on the right were all too happy leftists were joining their ongoing boycott of Disney, which for years has been accused of sexualizing and grooming children with woke indoctrination.
