Airports in Florida are now required to report any geoengineering or weather modification activities under a new state law banning covert climate change experimentation.
In an X post Monday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said his office would enforce the law signed last month by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) that aims to protect Floridians by banning the release of aerosolized particulate matter into the atmosphere.
The law prohibits “the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight.”
Addressing Florida public-use airport operators, Uthmeier wrote, “This landmark legislation marks another Florida victory for health, freedom, and environmental protection.”
“From farmlands to our waterways, to the very air we breathe – Floridians’ health is under attack from toxic particulates being sprayed into our atmosphere, polluting our water, contaminating agriculture, and destroying human health. Injecting our atmosphere with novel chemical compounds to block the sun is a dangerous path, especially in Florida, where sunshine is our most valuable resource.”
Uthmeier speculated “weather modification could have played a role” in the Texas floods that killed over a hundred people earlier this month, adding, “Florida’s new law seeks to prevent something like that from ever happening.”
Starting in October, operators are also required to submit monthly reports about equipment capable of releasing substances intended to alter the weather, as some have suggested climate-altering chemicals may be added to jet fuel.
“Failing to comply with your new reporting obligation could result in a loss of state funding,” the AG’s letter states.
“Because airports are most likely to catch those who seek to weaponize science in order to push their agenda, your compliance with these reporting obligations is essential to keeping our state safe from these harmful chemicals and experiments,” the AG explained to operators.
“We need your help to keep our state free and make sure the skies belong to the people-not to private contractors, corporate experiments, or climate extremists. In Florida, we don’t jeopardize the public health so that we can bend the knee to the climate cult.“
Florida’s enforcement of its geoengineering ban comes as the Trump administration seems poised to address the chemtrail phenomenon, with EPA head Lee Zeldin and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. pushing to investigate government weather modification programs, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) introducing legislation to stop the “dangerous and deadly practice.”
