During an appearance at the White House Religious Liberty Commission on Monday, President Donald Trump acknowledged the recent brutal murder of a white Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte, North Carolina, by a homeless black man with a lengthy rap sheet.
23-year-old Iryna Zarutska was randomly stabbed in the neck by 35-year-old Decarlos Brown while riding a train last month.
Footage of the incident was finally released last week, and many people suspect it was withheld due to the racial implications of the attack.
While the vast majority of mainstream media outlets continue to ignore the disturbing killing, President Trump brought attention to the story after a reporter told him about it while on a tarmac in Maryland Sunday.
“When did this happen?” Trump asked the reporter. “I see the video. I’ll know all about it by tomorrow morning.”
By Sunday morning, Trump told the nation, “I give my love and hope to the family of the young woman who was stabbed in Charlotte by a madman, a lunatic, just got up and started – it’s right on the tape, not really watchable because it’s so horrible – but just viciously stabs, she’s just sitting there. So, there are evil people. We have to be able to handle that. If we don’t handle that, we don’t have a country.”

The comment comes amid the White House working to crack down on violent crime in major cities across the U.S. despite bizarre pushback from criminal-loving Democrats.
Meanwhile, a Wikipedia editor has nominated an article about Zarutska’s death to be deleted.
“Wikipedia is already trying to memory hole her murder..” wrote Alex Jones, adding, “1984 is here!”
𝕏 owner Elon Musk said it’s “odd” that all the social media users with Ukrainian flags in their bios are largely silent about the murder.
