Veterinarian Dr. Julie Gard Schnuelle, a 59-year-old former professor at Auburn University, was stabbed and killed on Saturday while walking her dog in a park.
Harold Rashad Dabney III has been charged in the murder and is facing the death penalty.
A person walking through the park later in the day saw Schnuelle’s body and called 911.
Police arrived, found the victim’s dog standing hear her corpse and later learned her truck was missing from the scene.
The vehicle was found nearby the following day after Dabney, who reportedly stole the truck before ditching it, was arrested when someone called the police to report he was acting suspiciously.
A university spokesperson told WTVM, “Julie Gard Schnuelle, DVM, Ph. D., was a beloved member of the Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and the Auburn Family. Auburn sends our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Dr. Gard Schnuelle during this unimaginably difficult time.”
Conservative commentator Tim Pool covered the story on his podcast this week.
While the motive for the killing is still unknown, many people are noticing a trend in black Americans murdering their white countrymen in disproportionate numbers and in often unprovoked attacks.
Also making headlines this week is last month’s murder of a white Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte, North Carolina, by a homeless black man with a lengthy rap sheet.
Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that mainstream media pundits either downplays or outright ignores these killings and assaults while losing their collective minds when minorities are harmed by white Americans.
And, as crime in the U.S. is currently a hot political topic, Democrats are strongly opposing the Trump White House’s attempts to crack down on violent criminals in major cities.
