Left-wing political commentator Bill Maher questioned when the QAnon conspiracy theorists, who claimed a cabal of elitists were facilitating a global pedophile sex trafficking ring, would receive an apology after the Epstein files appeared to vindicate them.

Discussing the files and the Clintons being subpoenaed to testify before Congress with podcaster Stephen A. Smith, Maher admitted, “…You know, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but where does QAnon go for the apology?”

“I mean QAnon which believed in lots of really ridiculous things like you know, Democrats eat babies, but they were kind of harping a lot on the idea that the elites are running this pedophile ring…”

“And, I mean, I made jokes about them. I also made jokes after the Epstein thing happened originally that were on the idea of… well, you know, there like obviously there was some smoke there,” he continued.

“Well, now with all that’s come out in the last couple of weeks, this little more than smoke,” Maher said.

“It does look like anybody who was at all able to get in touch with Jeffrey Epstein…he was the man.
…And then they all lied about it…And the arrogance also of thinking they could just use their real name in an email, which they did and didn’t try to like couch it,” Maher said, adding he would use code words when he would buy marijuana from drug dealers.

“No, they’re just openly talking in emails about this sort of, you know, sexual perversion and that they were all doing.”

“So, you know, I mean, QAnon, yes, a lot of crazy there, but you know what? You weren’t totally wrong about that, guys,” Maher concluded.

Maher’s about-face on the Q community comes as photos and emails from the Epstein files appear to show a wide network of “elite” associates all connected with the deceased pedophile billionaire.

President Trump, meanwhile – despite false rape claims from Jane Does that only arose when he launched his 2016 presidential campaign – has emerged largely unscathed, and has previously demonstrated animosity towards pedophiles, while refusing to denounce Q believers.

In one 2020 town hall hosted by NBC, Trump argued to moderator Savannah Guthrie that he didn’t find the fact that Q was against pedophilia very offensive.

In another clip from 2020, Trump was conducting a White House press briefing when a reporter stated: “Mr. President, there is this theory that you are secretly saving the world from this satanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals.”

Trump responded, “Is that supposed to be a bad thing?”
