Image Credit: ROMEO BOETZLE / Contributor / Getty A Christmas celebration in Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe, France, turned into a nightmare when somebody plowed into the crowd with their vehicle on Friday night.
Police say ten people died and at least nine others were injured, but have yet to reveal the motivation of the killer.
Three of the victims are said to be in a serious condition, according to Radio Caraïbes Internationale Guadeloupe.
The incident took place across the street from the city’s town hall and a church at Schoelcher Square.
Footage of the aftermath shows first responders addressing the situation.

Local media reports the driver, who was immediately arrested after ramming into the revelers, “was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.”
Meanwhile, witnesses claimed the driver may have suffered a medical episode.
Time will tell if the deadly incident was intentional or accidental.
