Image Credit: x screenshot Ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke at a New York conference hosted by Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom on Tuesday, blaming social media for spreading “totally made-up” videos about Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Speaking about college students, Clinton said, “Smart, well-educated, young people from our own country, from around the world, where were they getting their information? They were getting their information from social media, particularly TikTok.”
Hillary Clinton has crawled out of her cave to accuse young people of not knowing the truth about Israel because of “social media.”

She is full of shit.
Social media didn’t drop the bombs on Gaza. Israel did & the U.S. supplied them.

“That is where they were learning about what happened on October 7th, what happened in the days, weeks, and months to follow. That’s a serious problem. It’s a serious problem for democracy, whether it’s Israel or the United States, and it’s a serious problem for our young people,” she continued.
Clinton went on to say students she speaks with have no context of history in the Middle East and are digesting “pure propaganda” on social media.
She claimed even “young Jewish Americans don’t know the history and don’t understand” what’s going on between Israel and Palestine.
“A lot of the challenge is with younger people. More than 50% of young people in America get their news from social media,” Clinton complained. “So just pause on that for a second. They are seeing short-form videos, some of them totally made up, some of them not at all representing what they claim to be showing, and that’s where they get their information.”
Left-wing political commentator Cenk Uygur accurately critiqued Clinton’s remarks, noting she is essentially complaining legacy media’s stranglehold on the minds of young Americans is fading.
“Hillary Clinton just complained Israel’s complete control over traditional media isn’t enough. She’s worried young people, even young Jews, are now against a genocide because they were able to see reality on social media. She’s so mad Israeli propaganda isn’t working anymore,” he wrote.
Uygur added, “Isn’t it amazing that after all this time, she’s still out there dutifully kissing Israel’s ass? She’s pretending the genocide didn’t happen and that it’s all made up on social media videos. Some of these older politicians are the most clueless people on earth.”

The “Young Turks” host also pointed out older Americans are increasingly upset at the youth for calling out the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
“I’ve also never seen an older genration this mad at a younger generation for being more moral than them. It feels like they’re screaming into the wind, ‘Why won’t you be morally depraved like us? Why won’t you cheerlead for a genocide? Why won’t you sell out, like we did?!'”
