Footage captured an irate anti-ICE protester calling on leftists to take up arms against the federal government, following last week’s fatal shooting of a protester in Minnesota.
Interviewed by left-leaning Status Coup news, the man protesting in Minneapolis said he was tired of talking and was ready to move to violence after he was pepper-balled by agents.
“The time for speaking is over,” the man told an interviewer. “The time for niceties is over. The time for peace is over. They fired the first shot. It is time to end this by any means necessary.”
Asked if he was aware of the “dark place” such a confrontation may take the nation, the man said, “We’re there! This is the dark place! This is the dark time!” adding, “There’s no way out of this. There’s no voting our way out of this. We can’t wait til November. There’s no waiting in the ballot box. We need to get to the bullet box. That’s the only way.”

“If there was another way, I’d be advocating for it. I’ve spoken peacefully. I’ve marched peacefully. I’ve marched with Al Sharpton, and I marched on Washington. I’ve been peaceful. I’ve acted peacefully. The time for peace is over.”
Video shows the man go on to yell at federal agents, saying the protesters should “f—ing come back with f—ing weapons, go to the gun store, learn how to use it.”
The man’s violent rhetoric represents a dangerous escalation as leftist anger over the incident in Minneapolis last week boils over.
Meanwhile, the federal government is undeterred in its deportation operations, with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem pledging to send hundreds more ICE agents to Minnesota.
