A Florida man is being praised as a hero for calling the police upon seeing a local pedophile riding in a truck with underage boys in the back, leading to a law enforcement pursuit and the suspect being arrested.
In a 911 dispatch call, the concerned citizen is heard telling his local police department that he saw 60-year-old Darnell Hairston, who is a known registered sex offender, driving down the highway with “two kids in his truck.”

When dispatch asked if the good Samaritan knew the alleged pedo, the caller said, “He’s our neighborhood child pedophile, and there’s two missing kids that’s run away from out there, and he’s got two teenage boys in the back of his truck.”
At one point the police dispatcher told the guy he didn’t “have to follow” Hairston, he responded, “Oh no, I’m following until I see a cop pull his ass over, because he’s got two kids in his car. If a cop don’t pull him over, I’m going to pull him over and it ain’t going to be fucking pretty.”
When deputies eventually located the truck, the child predator fled on foot and was quickly apprehended.
A 15-year-old boy who was in the truck with Hairston then got behind the wheel and led officers on a chase, rammed a patrol car and crashed in a field.
WFTV Channel 9 reports the 15-year-old and Hairston kidnapped an 11-year-old boy, hog-tied him with an extension cord and tortured him by strangling the child and forcing him to use drugs and alcohol for three days at a campsite.
