YouTube content creator Tyler Oliveira traveled to Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas, which has in recent decades undergone a massive cultural shift due to an influx of Indian immigrants, many exploiting the federal government’s H-1B visa program.
However, instead of importing highly-skilled foreign workers, as the program is intended, many immigrants applying for the visa are working low-skilled jobs, taking jobs away from Americans and driving down wages by working for less pay.
The mini-documentary is Oliveira’s latest look at Indian culture – after he traveled to India last year to take part in a poop-throwing festival.
