Popular YouTuber Michael “Schlep” was banned from the popular video game Roblox and has been served with cease-and-desist letters by the company that owns the game after the 22-year-old content creator exposed alleged child predators using the platform to prey on kids.
Schlep’s investigations resulted in six being arrested for reportedly engaging in sexual activities with children via the game, and the company went after the YouTuber instead of addressing the issue.
Footage of one of the arrests was posted online:
According to @RealSchlep, his efforts have even led to the arrests of six different child predators over the past year, something he says law enforcement is glad when people give them this information.

Schlep, who says he was groomed by a well-known Roblox developer when he was younger, detailed in a viral video how the game banned his accounts and took legal action against him after getting the six users arrested.
The developer reportedly sent violent content, pornography, and talked sexually with a then 12-year-old Schlep who eventually attempted suicide and had to be hospitalized.
Schlep’s mother contacted Roblox seeking help, but the company “was unresponsive until she threatened legal action,” where they then claimed the abuse took place “on another platform” and ignored the fact that one of their developers was being accused.
Within days of Schlep sounding the alarm about the bizarre Roblox response, players started protesting within the game by posting #FreeSchlep and picketing.
Again responding by cracking down on their anti-child predator customers instead of the culprits, Roblox reportedly began suspending the users engaging in the protests.
According to AP, The viral #FreeSchlep movement is garnering millions of views and prompting a major Roblox influencer to quit the company’s creator program in protest, with Crime journalist Chris Hansen contacting Schlep about participating in an upcoming documentary investigating Roblox’s handling of child safety issues.
Schlep is now being represented by Stinar Gould Grieco & Hensley, PLLC (SGGH) and Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman, PLLC, with SGGH Founding Partner Martin Gould stating, “Michael is doing exactly what Roblox should be doing — identifying and stopping predators who target children. Instead of partnering with him, they’re trying to destroy him. That tells you everything about their real priorities.”

The news quickly reached major American politicians, with Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna (Calif.) launching a petition to get Roblox to be more transparent about child safety issued on the game and Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill (R) suing the game’s owners for allowing it to become “a breeding ground for sex predators.”
Murrill posted about a man who was arrested for allegedly using the game to coerce an underage victim to “send inappropriate photos of herself.”
Murrill posted to social media several times further detailing her reasons for suing Roblox.
