Around 20 people attended a New York City rally in support of “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert on Sunday after CBS announced earlier this week that the comedian’s show would soon be canceled.
The “We’re With Colbert” demonstration took place outside the CBS Broadcast Center in Manhattan, with angry masked leftists crying about the late-night program being taken off air and claiming it was a political decision.

Alex Jones commented on the sad turnout on 𝕏, writing, “Colbert is emblematic of the entire corporate Hollywood media system. Like the dinosaurs they are extinct, but they are just now starting to figuring it out.”
President Donald Trump issued a Truth Social message last week, saying there’s “a strong word” that late night television hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon may soon be taken off air due to poor ratings just days after Stephen Colbert was canned by CBS.
“The word is, and it’s a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, Fallon will be gone,” POTUS wrote.
“These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television. It’s really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!”
“I absolutely love that Colbert’ got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert! Greg Gutfeld is better than all of them combined, including the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show,” Trump wrote after learning of Colbert’s termination.
