Norfolk, Virginia, news outlet WTKR reported on a criminal complaint made by an off-duty officer with the Norfolk Police Department who heard the brothers talking at a local restaurant about “how ICE agents are kidnapping individuals and that they need to do something about it.”
The duo allegedly discussed flying to Vegas to meet with “like-minded” individuals, with Mark mentioning he had recently purchased a high-powered rifle that “utilizes the explosive rounds that are needed to penetrate the vests” worn by ICE agents.
According to the complaint, John said he wanted to tag along on the Nevada visit to “go hunting” with his brother.
13 News Now reported both brothers were granted bond after their Thursday arraignment.
