Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk called for an imam in Boston to be deported after a video surfaced of him declaring Islam “America’s future,” while blaming “sick” white Americans for filling the world with violence.
In the 2019 video going viral on X, Imam Abdullah Faaruuq declared the nation must submit to Islam or meet its demise.
“Islam is America’s future, for without Islam America will meet its demise,” Faaruuq said at a mosque. “Islam needs submission to the will of God. This is one nation under God.”
“This is not the land of the free in the home of the brave — it’s the land of the coward and the home of the slave,” he added, after claiming a statue in Boston represented a native American asking the Great Spirit to “send the European home, probably…Go back where you came from, because you’ve done nothing but cause hell in this country and all over the world.”
Faaruuq went on to say white Americans don’t want to associate with Muslims because they would be proven inferior.
“You’re a bunch of cowards because you don’t want to get on the basketball court with us, because we’ll whip you. You don’t want to get let us on the baseball field, because we’ll whip you. You don’t want to let us on the boardrooms, because we’ll whip you, or at least you give your run for your money.”
“You’re outnumbered, and you’re afraid that even your women might love some of the people who say that they’re Muslim or people of color,” Faaruuq said.
“Not all of America,” the imam said, adding, “There are plenty of white people who are just as good as any other person. Wonderful people.”
The video concludes with Faaruuq demanding open borders, saying, “Stop alienating and be Muslim.”
“I advise you America, be Muslim. Open the doors of this nation. And even you people who say that you are Muslim, be Muslim. Submit to will of God. This is the answer.”
“Kick him out of the country,” Musk replied on Monday, in a response that received over 34 million views.
