New York City police officers have been encouraged to defect to the federal government following the election of Islamic communist Zohran Mamdani as the next mayor of the Big Apple.

On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement posted the web address JOIN.ICE.GOV on social media along with the following message:

“NYPD OFFICERS: Join an agency that respects you, your family, and your commitment to serving in law enforcement.”

A number of law enforcement agencies across the country have issued similar invitations to NYC cops and residents in anticipation of a mass exodus in the coming months.

“If you’re an NYC resident or a great NYPD officer unhappy with the results of tonight’s Mayoral election, let me be the first to invite you into the welcoming arms of Volusia County, FL,” Mike Chitwood, sheriff of Volusia County, wrote on Facebook on Tuesday night.

“To my NYPD friends, if you want to come to work in an organization that is cutting edge, innovating every day, a place where you’re appreciated by the community and supported by the elected officials, then check out the Volusia Sheriff’s Office and take a look at how we’re getting the job done.”

The Houston Police Department has urged NYPD officers “disgusted with the election of Zohran Mamdani” to consider relocating to Texas.

“We believe socialism is going to be bad for law enforcement in New York City. There is opportunity here in Houston for officers to come, make a great life for themselves, the cost of living is a lot less and you can actually do police work and be supported by our mayor and our city council,” stated Houston Police Union President Doug Griffin.

Mamdani is scheduled to take office on Jan. 1, 2026.
