Federal authorities apprehended at least three dangerous citizens of a predominantly-Islamic West African nation in the weeks leading up to a possible terror attack carried out by an alleged African jihadist in Texas this weekend.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just announced the apprehension of Abu Gbla, a criminal illegal alien from Sierra Leone.

Gbla was recently taken into ICE custody in Arlington, Virginia.

Gbla had prior arrests for assault, larceny, kidnapping, abduction, aggravated assault of police officer, property damage, violating a court order and a probation violation.

As we previously reported, ICE arrested two other men from Sierra Leone in February, both of whom were charged with committing horrific crimes against women.

On Feb. 25, Abdul Jalloh was charged in the brutal stabbing murder of Stephanie Minter last week in Fairfax County, Virginia — a sanctuary jurisdiction.

Minter’s body was located at a bus stop in Hybla Valley and Jalloh was arrested the following day in connection with a larceny in the area before being charged with killing the 41-year-old mother from Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Jalloh, who has lived illegally in the U.S. since 2012 and was ordered deported in 2020, racked up more than 30 arrests for a slew of crimes, including rape, malicious wounding (5x), assault (4x), battery (4x), drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and pick pocketing.

On Feb. 11, ICE apprehended Ibrahim George Kallon shortly after he was charged with rape and other sex crimes — while training to become a corrections officer in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, which the Center for Immigration Studies has classified as sanctuary jurisdiction.

Kallon was arrested by the Glenolden Police Department on a slew of charges, including rape, sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and false imprisonment.

ICE immediately lodged a detainer request with the Delaware County Prison — the same facility where Kallon was hired.

Incredibly, the court reportedly lowered Kallon’s bond from $250,000 to $100,000, and then allowed him to pay just $1 before he was released back into the community on Feb 5.

ICE tracked Kallon down and took him into custody days later.

Roughly three-quarters of Sierra Leone’s population identifies as Muslim.

Early Sunday morning, a suspect identified as Ndiaga Diagne opened fire on crowds in downtown Austin, Texas, killing two people and wounding at least 14 before he was gunned down by local police.

Diagne, who was reportedly wearing a shirt reading “Property of Allah” at the time of the attack, was a criminal migrant from Senegal, another West African country where Islam is dominant.

The FBI is investigating the massacre as a potential act of terrorism, possibly in retaliation for U.S.-Israeli military action against Iran.
