Hillary Clinton on Thursday appeared for a closed-door deposition in Chappaqua, New York insisting that the Republican majority House Oversight Committee interview President Donald Trump on his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
During her opening remarks, Hillary claimed Trump’s name had been withheld by the Justice Department in documents related to supposedly “heinous crimes.”
“A committee run by elected officials with a commitment to transparency would ensure the full release of all the files. It would ensure that the lawful redactions of those files protected the victims and survivors, not powerful men and political allies,” Hillary stated, according to The Mirror.
Embed from Getty Images“It would get to the bottom of reports that DoJ withheld FBI interviews in which a survivor accuses President Trump of heinous crimes,” she added.
Hillary also subtly blasted tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, telling the committee to consider subpoenas for “anyone who asked on which night there would be the ‘wildest party’ on Epstein’s island.”
Elsewhere during her testimony, Clinton denied having any knowledge of crimes related to Epstein, saying, “I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr Epstein.”

Hillary also reportedly halted testimony after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) took a photo inside the private hearing and leaked it to conservative commentator Benny Johnson.

Hillary’s husband ex-President Bill Clinton, who is documented to have flown on Epstein’s Lolita Express jet 26 times according to flight logs, will appear for a closed-door deposition on Friday.
Epstein madame Ghislaine Maxwell additionally attended the wedding of Bill and Hillary’s daughter Chelsea.

For his part, President Trump has largely denied having any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activity, instead telling CPAC in 2015 that Bill Clinton would have “a lot of problems coming up in my opinion with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein.”
