Eight Antifa members have been found guilty of terrorism for their part in a shooting incident at a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in July last year.

The incident left one ICE agent seriously wounded, shot in the neck.

Those defendants—two of whom are transgender—included Benjamin Song, Cameron Arnold (also known as Autumn Hill), Zachary Evetts, Bradford Morris (also known as Meagan Morris), Maricela Rueda, Savanna Batten, Elizabeth Soto, and Ines Soto.

Benjamin Song was identified as the shooter and also found guilty of attempted murder and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

Several of the defendants were cleared of these more serious charges.

The ninth defendant, Daniel Rolando Sánchez-Estrada, was found guilty of two charges: concealing documents and conspiracy to conceal.

The trial will open the possibility of further legal action against other Antifa members.

“Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization that has been allowed to flourish in Democrat-led cities, not under President [Donald] Trump,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement.

“Today’s verdict on terrorism charges will not be the last as the Trump administration systematically dismantles Antifa and finally halts their violence on America’s streets.”

FBI Director Kash Patel said in an X post that “violent extremists” received justice for their actions.

“They ambushed law enforcement, shot an officer in the neck, and thought they’d get away with it,” he stated.

The case is the first in which Antifa members have faced terrorism charges for their violent protests.

In September of last year, President Trump issued an Executive Order designating Antifa a domestic terror organization.

Sentencing will take place in June.

Song could face life in prison, while the other defendants face between 10 and 60 years.
