The FBI is reportedly investigating several transgender social media users who made posts suggesting they knew that conservative activist Charlie Kirk would be shot and killed days before it happened.

Citing three anonymous sources “familiar with the investigation,” The Washington Free Beacon on Monday reported:

The posts—one of which referenced the date of Kirk’s assassination, September 10, more than a month before it took place—were all deleted in the days following the killing. Several of the accounts appear to belong to transgender individuals, and at least one of them followed suspect Tyler Robinson’s roommate, with whom Robinson was allegedly in a relationship, on TikTok.

The Free Beacon noted the FBI archived the posts, screenshots of which had already been circulating online.

At least one post suggesting foreknowledge was reposted by an account that followed Lance Twiggs, suspected Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson’s transgender roommate and boyfriend.

In one X post made on Aug. 6 – over a month before Kirk’s fatal shooting – user @altulige wrote “september 10th will be a very interesting day,” writing a re-post following the murder, stating, “I plead the fifth.”

“The morbid quip was reposted by an account named ‘churbum75m (SAW TYLER JUNE 30),’ who appears to follow Robinson’s roommate, Lance Twiggs, on TikTok, where Twiggs’s username is ‘lanclotl,'” explains the Free Beacon.

The same user, churmbum75m, in the moments after Kirk’s death was announced, posted, “WE FUCKING DID IT,” on X.

Another X user, @tallyhallalbum, a week before Kirk’s death, posted, “itd be funny if someone like charlie kirk got shot on september 10th LMAO.”

Another X account, @NajraGalvz – who identified as non-binary – a day before the shooting, wrote, “Charlie kirk is coming to my college tomorrow i rlly hope someone evaporates him literally,” before ominously writing, “Lets just say something big will happen tomorrow.”

More via the Free Beacon:

Several of the accounts under investigation appear to be associated with LGBT subcultures. One individual, “Osamu bin Tezuka,” used the X handle “@fujoshincel,” a reference to a genre of anime that depicts romantic relationships between men.

Additionally, another TikTok user “who appears to be transgender,” according to the Free Beacon, posted a video the night before the shooting stating, “charles james kirk…does not know what’s coming tomorrow.”

“Be ready…,” wrote user @definitelynotjacks0n, adding, “this isn’t a threat it’s a promise.”

News of the FBI’s probe into questionable social media posts comes as federal investigators are also looking at whether pro-trans groups like Armed Queers SLC – which deleted its Instagram following the shooting – and gaming communities like Steam similarly expressed prior knowledge of, or involvement in the killing.
