Image Credit: whatever podcast screenshot A tattoo artist who was born in Colombia and moved to the U.S. ten years ago is going viral online for publicly stating she’d side with her birth nation over America if they got into a war.
“We need to find this girl, denaturalize her and deport her immediately,” journalist Savanah Hernandez wrote on 𝕏.
The Colombian immigrant, a 29-year-old named Ana, admitted she came to America seeking “a better future” during her appearance on the “Whatever” podcast.
When podcast host Brian Atlas questioned Ana about her allegiance to Colombia, he said she should “get the fuck out of our country.”
Atlas then told the tattoo artist that she vowed allegiance to America when she took her oath of citizenship.
“When you take the oath, you pledge to renounce any foreign allegiance, support and defend the U.S. Constitution and laws and perform service to the country when required by law,” he stated.
After being pressed about lying when she took her oath to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, Ana stood by her answer that she’d “side” with Colombia if it faced off with America.
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter wrote, “She committed fraud to become naturalized, so she can be de-naturalized.”
