Students in cities across the United States engaged in anti-ICE walkout protests on Friday and Monday, with some of the demonstrations resulting in total chaos.
An incident in Buda, Texas, is being investigated by local police after a huge fight broke out between a man and high school students.
Video footage shows a man trying to retrieve his red hat, likely a pro-Trump MAGA cap, from a female teenager.
A large mob of students attacked the man, delivering several blows and trying to choke him out before he was able to grab his hat and get back into his truck, which was parked in the middle of a street.
Buda Police released a statement, saying, “The argument escalated into a physical altercation involving multiple people. Both primary parties involved were identified and the situation remains under investigation.”
The fight took place off campus, and contrary to some false reports being spread online, the man in the video is not a teacher or employee of Hays CISD.
CBS Austin reported, “Kyle Police said they arrested two minors; one was charged with assault on a public servant, resisting arrest, interfering with public duties, consumption, and possession of alcohol by a minor, while the other was charged with resisting arrest and interfering with public duties. The district said any student who participated in the protest will receive unexcused absences.”
Over in Kansas City, Missouri, a student tried interviewing his peers who were demonstrating, only to be told he should “dig up Charlie Kirk and f**k him in the neck hole.”
A Georgia high school anti-ICE walkout was clearly just an excuse for students to go wild and become unruly, trashing their own football field and throwing objects at each other.
A security guard at the school told one student she didn’t like the way they went about their “protest.”
Across Central Texas, thousands of students chanted, “Fuck ICE,” waved Mexican flags and took the opportunity to skip class.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) criticized students for attacking people, and slammed the schools that allowed the demonstrations, writing, “Disruptive walkouts allowed by schools lead to just this kind of chaos. Schools and staff who allow this behavior should be treated as co-conspirators and should not be immune for criminal behavior. We are also looking into stripping the funding of schools that abandon their duty to teach our kids the curriculum required by law.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) wrote, “I’m demanding documents as part of an investigation into Austin ISD for facilitating student protests against lawful immigration enforcement activities.”
Republican Texas House Candidate Tom Glass accurately pointed out, “We are facing an organized internal communist insurgency against law and order and U.S. sovereignty.”
During China’s Maoist revolution, or the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976, the state weaponized the youth as the citizen brigade used to enforce Chairman Mao Zedong’s ideology, often attacking and killing their political enemies.
GOP Texas State Representative Stan Gerdes wrote, “This wasted taxpayer dollars, robbed students of instructional time, and created a serious safety risk by allowing minors to leave campus without proper accountability or supervision. Public schools are not protest staging grounds — they exist to educate students.”
“I want to thank our law enforcement officers who went above and beyond to manage this situation and ensure students were kept safe despite the chaos they were handed,” he added. “Next session, the Texas Legislature needs to take a hard look at what our school districts may need in order to stop this nonsense. Parents deserve schools focused on education, and students deserve safe campuses.”
There are more student demonstrations planned throughout the U.S. over the next few weeks.
