A 56-year-old man who identified as a woman shot and killed the mother of his child and their son at a high school hockey game on Monday.
The shooter was actively arguing with conservative commentators on social media in the days before the attack, according to Fox News.
Robert Dorgan, also known as Roberta Esposito, opened fire during his son’s Rhode Island hockey game on Monday where he shot four family members, two fatally, and a family friend before eventually shooting and killing himself.
Chilling footage from the game shows the moment the trans shooter opened fire and was restrained by brave bystanders.

Just one day prior to the attack, Dorgan defended transgender Congressman Tim McBride (D-Del.) on 𝕏.
Actor and outspoken conservative Kevin Sorbo posted that McBride, who goes by Sarah, “is a man.”
Infowars founder Alex Jones responded, “So creepy,” with Dorgan replying to Jones, “stfu Alex dont be so butt hurtt over somebody different. then wonder why trans ppl go fkn BERSERK.”

In a message directed at Sorbo, Dorgan wrote, “keep bashing us. but do not wonder why we Go BERSERK.”
Former Missouri secretary of state candidate Valentina Gomez posted a screenshot of Dorgan responding to a post she made condemning trans surgeries.
Dorgan sported a Nazi SS tattoo and frequently shared pro-Hitler content on social media.
Last week, a transgender suspect shot and killed nine people in a remote Canadian town, injuring 25 others before taking his own life.
