President Donald Trump issued multiple messages on Truth Social Thursday, celebrating a Minnesota judge for declining to block ICE operations in the state and threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act if Democrat politicians such as Minn. Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey fail to prevent leftist rioters from attacking ICE officers.
“A highly respected judge declined to block I.C.E. operations in the very politically corrupt State of Minnesota,” he wrote. “I.C.E. will therefore be allowed to continue its highly successful operation of removing some of the most violent and vicious criminals anywhere in the World, many of them murderers, from the State. The great patriots of Law Enforcement will continue to make our Country safe. RECORD LOW CRIME NUMBERS!!!”
The president added, “If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota donât obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State. Thank you for you attention to this matter! President DJT.”
The announcement comes after ICE and Border Patrol agents have been repeatedly attacked and had their operations impeded by radical left-wing agitators who have rammed into federal vehicles and thrown bottles filled with urine at them.
On Wednesday evening, the anti-ICE agitators destroyed FBI and DHS vehicles, broke into them, stole firearms and sensitive documents located in the federal SUVs.
