Top DOJ attorney Group Ed Martin Jr. is investigating the federal government’s Democrat-led lawfare against Infowars founder Alex Jones.
Writing to attorney Christopher Mattei of Koskoff & Bieder earlier this month, Martin requested information about Mattei’s client FBI Special Agent William Aldenberg and his role in the Sandy Hook lawsuit against Jones.
Martin wrote, “I am writing to request information from you regarding your client FBI Special Agent William Aldenberg and his role in certain litigation that may benefit him personally and that may impact our citizens and our legal system. As you may know, there are criminal laws protecting the citizens from actions by government employees who may be acting for personal benefit. I encourage you to review those.”
Martin asked Mattei to answer the following questions:
- Did SA Aldenberg reveal any financial benefit that might accrue to him as he led litigation and recruited other plaintiffs?
- Did he do so before or after public proceedings/filings?
- When he testified in the Jones case, did he make clear the testimony was in his personal capacity?
- Beyond stating so in court or other proceedings, did he take actions to protect
the citizens? - At what point did SA Aldenberg recuse himself from matters in his work to protect himself and others from conflict?
- Finally, it recently came to my attention that one of the vendors named Berlin Rosen stated that they were leaders in “newsjacking” and may have assisted in the Jones case(s). Do you or your clients have a relationship with Berlin Rosen? Do you know how they achieved “newsjacking?”
Jones posted an image of himself and Martin during a recent meeting in Washington, D.C.
