The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released vitriolic messages sent to family members of immigration law enforcement officers.
DHS issued a press release condemning the disturbing surge of attacks and threats against federal immigration officers across the U.S., along with recent examples of such activity.
“Antifa terrorists are threatening the FAMILIES of our law enforcement. We will hunt these sickos down and put them behind bars. In Texas, the spouse of an ICE officer received a voicemail filled with violent threats. If you don’t believe that radical anarchists want ICE law enforcement dead, listen to this,” DHS stated in a post on X that included the voicemail audio.
The female caller can be heard stating the names of the spouse and agent, both of which were redacted, before launching into an expletive-filled rant.
“I don’t know how you let your husband work for ICE, and you sleep at night. F**k you. F**k your family. I hope your kids get deported by accident. How do you sleep? F**k you. Did you hear what happened to the Nazis after World War II? Because it’s what’s going to happen to your family,” the caller warned.
Another incident highlighted by DHS involved a Massachusetts resident sending a Facebook message to an agent’s wife stating, “Your husband, the ice man is a f**k and retribution will come your way eventually.”
Assaults on ICE officers are up 1,000% this year as illegal aliens and radical leftists become increasingly brazen in their resistance to immigration law enforcement.
“These type of threats against our brave ICE law enforcement officers and their families are disgusting. These officers risk their lives every day to arrest murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, and gang members from our communities. Comparing ICE day-in and day-out to the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols has consequences,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
“The men and women of ICE and CBP are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters. They get up every morning to try and make our communities safer. Like everyone else, they just want to go home to their families at night. The violence and dehumanization of these men and women who are simply enforcing the law must stop.”
