A document in the recent trove of three million Epstein files released by the DOJ reveals former Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter told the FBI in 2019 that he spoke with Donald Trump on the phone in 2006 about Jeffrey Epstein’s human trafficking network.
According to Reiter, Trump “knew Epstein was disgusting” and that Ghislaine Maxwell was his “operative,” warning, “she is evil,” and to “focus on her.”
The future president also said he was around Epstein once when teenage girls were around and that he “got the hell out of there,” later becoming among the first people to contact law enforcement after learning Epstein was under investigation.
For years, Infowars host and founder Alex Jones has been telling his audience that Trump kicked Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida for creepily trying to pick up on young women, and that POTUS went to the authorities about his suspicion and rumors that he was engaged in sex trafficking.
During a 2019 press conference on the White House lawn, Trump said he “was not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein” and confirmed he banned him from his club “many, many years ago.”
“Find out the people who went to the island,” the president added. “But Jeffrey Epstein was not somebody I respected, I threw him out and in fact I think the great James Patterson, who’s a member of Mar-a-Lago, made the statement yesterday that many years ago I threw him out. I’m not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein.”
A lawyer representing an Epstein victim also said in 2019 that POTUS was the only high-profile person who openly shared what he knew about the infamous pedophile.
“The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who, in 2009 when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people, that I want to talk to them, is the only person who picked up the phone and said, let’s just talk,” said Florida attorney Bradley Edwards.
Furthermore, at CPAC in 2015, Trump suggested Bill Clinton had “got a lot of problems coming up, in my opinion, with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein.”
Also in 2015, Trump told reporters to ask Prince Andrew about his good friend Jeffrey Epstein’s so-called “pedo” island, calling it an “absolute cesspool.”
Court documents including statements from Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre revealed in 2019 that she alleged President Trump “didn’t partake in any sex with” Epstein girls and that he didn’t even flirt with her when they met.
Last year, mainstream media and Democrat politicians jumped all over an email where Epstein told Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump is “the dog that didn’t bark,” insinuating without any proof that the comment somehow incriminated POTUS.
Meanwhile, Epstein expert and veteran investigative journalist Barry Levine said he thought the message revealed Epstein believed Trump was an informant or at least went to the authorities about his trafficking operation.
“I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump..Virginia [Giuffre] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned. police chief. etc. im 75 % there,” Epstein wrote, with Maxwell answering, “I have been thinking about that…”
Levine said during a CNN interview, “I suspect that Jeffrey Epstein in his email with Maxwell was saying he was 75% there believing that Trump might have been the whistleblower at the time. You have to remember that particular year the two men had a falling out, not only over the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell was taking young women from his spot Mar-a-Lago for Jeffrey Epstein, but they also had a nasty real-estate deal that both men were trying to get. So, there was bad blood between the two of them.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said last year that Trump “was an FBI informant” to try and take Epstein down, later retracting the claim.
