President Donald Trump defended his use of the “R-word” to describe Tim Walz over the holiday weekend, telling reporters on Sunday the term fit the Democrat Minnesota governor.
Discussing Trump’s lengthy Thanksgiving Day post – where he announced a permanent pause on Third World migration and bashed the Minnesota governor for failing to protect his state from growing Somali populations – a reporter aboard Air Force One asked, “You mentioned Tim Walz and you called him what many Americans do find an offensive word, ‘retarded.’ Do you stand by that claim of calling Tim Walz retarded?”

Trump didn’t miss a beat, immediately responding, “Yeah, I think there’s something wrong with him. Absolutely, sure.”
“You know what? I think there’s something wrong with him. Anybody that would do what he did, anybody that would allow those people into his state and pay billions of dollars out to Somalia – we give billions of dollars to Somalia. It’s not even a country because it doesn’t function like a country. It’s got a name, but it doesn’t function like a country. Yeah, there’s something wrong with Walz.”
Walz caught the stray insult amid Trump’s annual Thanksgiving Day message, where he was clearly still fuming following a deadly DC attack on national guardsmen by an Afghan national.

Asked in a follow-up question about his MRI screening in October, which many have claimed was kept from the public to hide an undisclosed medical issue, Trump agreed to release the results, clarifying that it wasn’t a brain scan, while taking parting shots at reporters before concluding the press gaggle.
“It wasn’t on the brain, because I took a cognitive test and ACED it. Which YOU would be incapable of doing. And you too!” he told reporters.
