Joining President Donald Trump on stage Wednesday, pop star Nicki Minaj told detractors their animosity increases her support for the president, as she pledged to contribute to his youth savings accounts.
“Well, I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan,” the Grammy-nominated artist said during the “Trump Accounts Summit” event in Washington, D.C. after being called up on stage by Trump.
“And that’s not going to change,” she added.
“And the hate, well, what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”

“We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and, you know, the smear campaigns, it’s not going to work. Okay? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen,” she continued.
Minaj, who was previously lambasted by the left for disavowing the Covid vaccine, appeared at the event after pledging to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to “Trump accounts,” savings accounts for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028.
“The true meaning of paying it forward. Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life,” Minaj wrote on X last week. “In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in. This makes me very happy.”
