A pair of armed suspects led California police on a lengthy chase Sunday night, hijacking a truck in Antelope Valley before overtaking three other vehicles and eventually escaping without being arrested.
The driver of the first pickup truck that was hijacked followed his vehicle and was reportedly shot at by one of the suspects.
While driving the wrong way on a major freeway, a suspect later allegedly fired shots at California Highway Patrol officers.
Later, the criminal duo ran into a big rig tanker truck and hijacked it, forcing the driver out and leaving them on the side of the road while a news helicopter filmed the whole thing.

Looks just like GTA.
The driver of the tanker truck was seen giving up his vehicle, and apparently left the keys in the ignition.

Driving the semi-truck into downtown Los Angeles, the driver circled around high-rise buildings for a while before entering the 10 Freeway again going the wrong way.
Next, the pair ditched the big rig and commandeered a white pickup truck, making the heist their third stolen vehicle of the chase.
After several minutes in the white pickup, the suspects jumped out and carjacked a fourth vehicle where they sped away and were somehow able to escape the massive police manhunt.
Internet users compared the chaotic incident to the “Grand Theft Auto” video game franchise.
As of Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made in relation to the crime spree.
