Viral footage purports to show a pregnant young child visiting a Pakistani market with her elderly husband, sparking outrage over the Muslim child-bride practice.
“This is one of the most viral videos I’ve seen, it has 2.6 million likes,” wrote popular X user @WallStreetApes on Wednesday, cross-posting a video from TikTok which was captioned, “This is a clip of a muslim child in pakistan a pregnant girl going to the market with her husband.”

It’s difficult to verify whether claims about the situation are authentic.
While the tradition is abhorred in the West, child brides and arranged marriages to minors are still practiced in various Pakistani tribes and villages — another reason why people argue some cultures are better than others and why they don’t want Islam imported into the U.S. or other Western nations.
