This move coincides with a House Judiciary Committee report on the unelected Nazi-adjacent European Union’s agenda to censor the global internet. The White House National Security Strategy published in November described the EU’s efforts to censor speech as being associated with a broader push to stifle objection to the agenda of replacing white people with non-whites via a United Nations program of replacement migration.
“Senior state department official Sarah Rogers travelled to Europe in December to meet influential rightwing think-tanks and has spoken to key figures in Nigel Farage’s populist Reform UK party about deploying a pot of money to spread American values, according to three people with knowledge of the matter,” The Financial Times said Thursday. “The funding was linked to the 250th anniversary celebrations of U.S. independence later this year, the people said.”
Gavin Wax, the chief of staff of public diplomacy & public affairs at the State Department pushed back on the article by The Financial Times, saying their so-called journalists were unfamiliar with public diplomacy activities:
The entire point of Public Diplomacy grants is to spread American values by advancing U.S. interests abroad. That means promoting core principles like free speech, pluralism, rule of law, civil society, & democratic governance. @FT’s so-called journalists simply demonstrate their unfamiliarity with the concept of public diplomacy with this half-baked screed.
Sarah Rogers, the under secretary for public diplomacy at the State Department explained that The Financial Times article was attempting to create a controversy where there wasn’t one:
Moreover, my office is forthright and transparent about everything we do.
The salacious scoop that I’m trying to promote free speech overseas is easily derived from my X feed and numerous media engagements. The FT resorts here to the same sleight of hand that media analysts accuse conspiracy podcasters of: report mundane phenomena, but attribute them to murky trumped-up “sources” using tarted-up language, like “slush fund” in lieu of “targeted government grants.”
By the way, we collaborate with European governments on plenty of these projects. We share goals, like child protection, that needn’t be advanced through censorship. Look forward to announcing more projects soon.
The dictatorial EU has long pushed for banning speech which does not align with its globalist New World Order agendas.
The White House National Security Strategy calls for a policy toward Europe which includes “cultivating resistance to Europe’s current trajectory within European nations,” on page 27.
Page 25 of Trump’s strategy discusses the MAGA agenda of protecting the white race (8% of world population) from erasure via the United Nations program of replacement migration, and how that anti-European agenda ties in with efforts to stifle speech against it.
“But this economic decline is eclipsed by the real and more stark prospect of civilizational erasure. The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence,” the White House National Security Strategy said on page 25. “Should present trends continue, the continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less. As such, it is far from obvious whether certain European countries will have economies and militaries strong enough to remain reliable allies. Many of these nations are currently doubling down on their present path. We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation.”
On Tuesday the House Judiciary Committee published a report on the European Union’s agenda to censor the global internet. The executive summary on page 1 said:
The Committee on the Judiciary of the U.S. House of Representatives is investigating how and to what extent foreign laws, regulations, and judicial orders compel, coerce, or influence companies to censor speech in the United States. As part of this oversight, the Committee has issued document subpoenas to ten technology companies, requiring them to produce communications with foreign governments, including the European Commission and European Union (EU) Member States, regarding content moderation. In July 2025, the Committee published a report detailing how the European Commission—the executive arm of the EU—weaponizes the Digital Services Act (DSA), a law regulating online speech, to impose global online censorship requirements on political speech, humor, and satire. Since then, pursuant to subpoena, technology companies have produced to the Committee thousands of internal documents and communications with the European Commission. These documents show the extent—and success—of the European Commission’s global censorship campaign.
The European Commission, in a comprehensive decade-long effort, has successfully pressured social media platforms to change their global content moderation rules, thereby directly infringing on Americans’ online speech in the United States. Though often framed as combating so-called “hate speech” or “disinformation,” the European Commission worked to censor true information and political speech about some of the most important policy debates in recent history—including the COVID-19 pandemic, mass migration, and transgender issues. After ten years, the European Commission has established sufficient control of global online speech to comprehensively suppress narratives that threaten the European Commission’s power.
Prior to the Committee’s subpoenas, these efforts largely occurred in secret. Now, the European Commission’s efforts have come to light for the first time, informing the Committee on legislative steps it can take to protect American free speech online.
Alex Jones discussed this congressional report on his show Friday.
On Monday Reclaim The Net reported that Washington is planning a “censorship shield law” to block UK and EU online speech restrictions.
“Washington is preparing legislation designed to prevent foreign governments from extending their online speech restrictions into the United States,” Reclaim The Net reported. “Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers confirmed that a new ‘censorship shield law’ is being drawn up to ensure that laws such as Britain’s Online Safety Act or the EU’s Digital Services Act cannot be used to censor U.S. citizens or companies.”
Vice President JD Vance spoke out against the EU’s attempt of thought control in May.
“The kind of social media censorship that we’ve seen in Western Europe, it will and in some ways, it already has made its way to the United States. That was the story of the Biden administration silencing people on social media,” Vance said in May.
In February 2025 Vance discussed the replacement migration operation destroying Europe.
