Expat Ireland resident Rosie O’Donnell wasted no time politicizing the deadly Texas floods that killed dozens, laying blame for the natural disaster on President Donald Trump.
In a social media post Sunday, the deranged former Hollywood C-lister – who’s had a tumultuous relationship with Trump – falsely claimed the floods that have so far left 70 dead happened due to the president’s budget cuts.
“And what a horror story in Texas, the flash floods in Texas, the Guadalupe River, 51 missing, 51 dead, more missing, children at a camp,” O’Donnell said on TikTok.
Rosie O’Donnell blames Trump for the Texas tragedy because he cut wasteful spending.

NWS had EXTRA staffers during the storm and warnings were issues hours in advance.

“And you know, when the president guts all of the early warning systems and the weathering forecast abilities of the government, these are the results that we’re going to start to see on a daily basis, because he’s put this country in so much danger by his horrible, horrible decisions and this ridiculously immoral bill that he just signed into law.“
“As Republicans cheered… people will die as a result and they’ve started already,” the disgruntled lesbian stated. “Shame on him. Shame on every GOP sycophant who’s listening and following the disastrous decisions of this mentally incapacitated POTUS. Hard to believe.”
Of course, O’Donnell’s accusations are unsubstantiated as National Weather Service (NWS) offices in New Braunfels, which service the area, had extra staff on duty due to the inclement weather.

Additionally, data shows bulletins warning of “life threatening flash flooding” were sent by the NWS as early as 1:14AM, hours before the deadly floods hit.

While some have attempted to claim Trump’s DOGE cuts to the NWS led to inaccurate forecasts, an on-the-ground witness disputed the allegations, saying phones in the area received flood warnings between 3 and 4AM.
“Nobody saw this coming,” noted Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly.
President Donald Trump on Sunday declared a major disaster in Kerr County as massive search-and-rescue efforts were underway following the deadly floods that claimed 70 lives, including at least 21 children. 11 children are still currently missing.
