President Trump has said the fraud in Minnesota is “far greater” than $19 billion, as he slammed state Rep. Ilhan Omar and Governor Tim Walz for their roles in the scandal.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The Theft and Fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the 19 Billion Dollars originally projected. The Biden Administration knew this FRAUD was happening, and did absolutely nothing about it.”
Trump then took aim at Omar and Walz for their complicity. He said Omar should be in prison, and slammed Walz as one of the worst government officials in US history.
“’Scammer’ Illhan Omar and her absolutely terrible friends from Somalia should all be in jail right now or, far worse, send them back to Somalia. “Governor” Waltz is either the most CORRUPT government official in history, or the most INCOMPETENT. Even a very low IQ person, of which there are many, should have known what was going on in Minnesota!!!”
As The New York Post notes, “Trump has repeatedly singled out Omar in speeches and social media posts, mocking her, accusing her of being a ‘fraud,’ and suggesting she should be removed from the United States.
“He has also accused Omar of committing immigration fraud by marrying her brother — a claim Omar has repeatedly denied.”
The President branded her a fraud again this week, after she was sprayed with a substance that turned out to be apple-cider vinegar during a public appearance, in an incident that many believe was staged to generate sympathy for the embattled Representative.
In recent weeks, President Trump has also suggested the ongoing protests in Minnesota are an attempt to “cover up” the huge fraud that has been discovered there, mainly among the Somali community.
“We are there because of massive Monetary Fraud, with Billions of Dollars missing, and Illegal Criminals that were allowed to infiltrate the State through the Democrats’ Open Border Policy,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post after the shooting of activist Alex Pretti last weekend by Customs and Border Patrol agents.
“Much of what you’re witnessing is a COVER UP for this Theft and Fraud. The Mayor and the Governor are inciting Insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric! Instead, these sanctimonious political fools should be looking for the Billions of Dollars that has been stolen from the people of Minnesota, and the United States of America.”
