British activist Tommy Robinson was arrested at Luton Airport upon his return to the UK, facing allegations of grievous bodily harm stemming from a July 28 altercation at St. Pancras station in London.
The incident, partially captured on video, shows Robinson near a man lying injured on the station floor, with Robinson claiming self-defense, shouting, “He came at me!”
Supporters argue the arrest is another attempt to silence Robinson, a vocal critic of mass immigration and establishment policies.
Robinson, 42, has long been a polarizing figure, targeted by authorities for his outspoken views. Recently released from an 18-month sentence for contempt of court in May 2025, after breaching a 2021 injunction against defaming a Syrian refugee, Robinson’s legal battles continue to mount.
His supporters see this as persecution for challenging the UK’s immigration policies and globalist agenda. The St. Pancras incident, where the alleged victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, coincided with Robinson briefly leaving the UK, with police confirming he boarded a flight hours after the event.
Despite these challenges, Robinson remains defiant, rallying his base for a major free speech demonstration in London on September 13.
The event, promoted as “the biggest free speech rally the world has ever seen,” aims to protest censorship and what Robinson calls “two-tier policing.”
His supporters on X claim the latest arrest is a calculated move to derail the rally and suppress dissent.
British Transport Police are investigating, urging witnesses to come forward. Robinson’s team vows he’ll fight the charges, framing this as another chapter in his battle against a system they say targets patriots.
