During an appearance on CBS News’ Face The Nation Sunday morning, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said he believes President Donald Trump is preparing to send a huge influx of weapons to Ukraine in the coming days, which would mark the first time since returning to office that POTUS would be using Presidential Drawdown Authority to send weapons to the Volodymyr Zelensky regime.
CBS anchor Margaret Brennan noted the president has “just short of four billion dollars in Presidential Drawdown Authority” to send to Ukraine, saying, “He doesn’t need to ask Congress” or “the Europeans.”

The incessant warmongering senator responded by claiming the $4 billion “isn’t enough” and that he expects President Trump to exercise the authority.
“The game regarding Putin’s invasion of Russia is about to change. I expect in the coming days you will weapons flowing at a record level to help Ukraine defend themselves. I expect in the coming days that there will be tariffs and sanctions available to President Trump he’s never had before. I expect in the coming days more support from Europe regarding their efforts to help Ukraine,” Graham said.
The South Carolina politician also alleged Putin tried “to play Trump” and made a miscalculation by not coming to a peace deal while ignoring the fact that Zelensky has repeatedly thwarted any potential advances in negotiations.
“You just watch,” he warned. “In the coming days and weeks, there’s going to be a massive effort to get Putin to the table. And, to those who are helping him, China buying cheap Russian oil and having no accountability, those days are about over.”
On Tuesday, POTUS said he’s considering sending more weapons to Ukraine, which could include Patriot missiles and offensive medium-range rockets.
Instead of tapping into his $4 billion in Presidential Drawdown Authority, the president said last week, “We’re sending weapons to NATO, and NATO is paying for those weapons, a hundred percent. We’re going to be sending Patriots to NATO, and then NATO will distribute that.”
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is scheduled to visit Washington, D.C. this week for a meeting with President Trump to negotiate and arms deal where the U.S. will sell weapons to NATO allies weaponry that will then pass them on to Ukraine.
“It’s a lot faster to move something, for example, from Germany to Ukraine than it is to order it from a (U.S.) factory and get it there,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio told the press last week.
However, if Graham’s comments are legitimate, it’s possible that POTUS will make a deal with NATO in addition to exercising his Presidential Drawdown Authority.
